Third trip in Hong Kong, visiting shopping malls like Langham, Elements alike has became dull and I was already starting to look for other options. This time around, I found the street markets quite welcoming but jinxed by the unforgiving heat. The other shopping option, of course, came naturally as Solo Mall at Tsim Sha Tsui.
The main concept of Solo Mall is providing cost-effective, stylishly renovated and tailored business space, which is ideal for young entrepreneurs who are seeking low cost rental.
The mall is, as with any properties by Eton Properties, having whitewashed clean and chic look.
Take note, however, you will not find the general brands (let alone luxury) but more of a homely shopping experience from manicure service, beauty spa, accessories, artsy stuffs, home brand clothings, vintage souvenirs and the list goes on….
I almost get myself some manicure if not for the tight schedule, because the designs are very appealing.
When I thought Solo Mall is offering mostly locally-made products, we came upon this outlet selling mainly a skincare/cosmetice brand from Thailand – Beauty Cottage. While I can’t really test the effect of the skincare (one needs a few weeks to know a good skincare product), I found the perfume ( yes, they have body fragrance too!) to be very pleasant.
Even the high technology beauty machinery from Korea can be fond here.
To top on our shopping experience, there is a patio (with greeneries!) whenever we need to rest our legs or taking a puff.
How to get there :
Take the MTR Tsuen Wan line to Tsim Sha Tsui station and exit A2.
