A while ago I posted on a 2D1N trip to Janda Baik. While Janda Baik is a really good refresher to our restless minds, all it was lacking was a good cup of coffee. Amazingly, it does have proper cafe, thanks to the development of this area into a traveler spot. And.. we found Pinto Coffee.
It was easy to miss the entrance especially when the winding hill road require extra focus in driving. We pass by the entrance before finally noticing it.
There is a parking area for customer so one do not have to worry about parking your car by the roadside. And if you are like us, the early riser, you can even park right in front of the cafe.
We love the tranquility of the place, the furnishing and quirkily shaped furnitures made purely from woods. Pinto Coffee is not unlike Teak Cafe, just a more humble and down-to-earth version.
There are even books (perhaps, donated) for customers’ reading. Amongst them, I found Agatha Christie.
Our breakfast set was simple but came with the usual suspects. The caramel macchiato was alright but the avocado in Avocado Ice Blended Coffee was a little too raw for blending, lacking in creaminess.
