Busy, busy, busy… First there was the warehouse sale with bountiful of Biotherm, Shu Uemura, Lancome and many cosmetics at specially low prices that made my one and a half hour of queue worthy.
So after grabbing my ‘loots’, we checked out this shop specialized in Pan Mee which Shyuan recommended. Finding parking around the area was a challenging and we had to park our car at the nearby houses. If you’re coming here during lunch time, you might have to share table.
CS was initially not too happy with my choice of lunch, but soon got better when we found out Pan Mee wasn’t the only kind of food available. Additional menus were the hotplate Pan Mee, Loh Mee and grilled fish and seafood. The grilled seafood were enticing but it was 37 degrees out there, so I skipped them.
I was sweating like a wet sponge and yet CS managed to gobbled down this hotplate noodles, obnoxious to the heat. It was only after he’s done with it, that he said they weren’t that good in taste though they were generous with the meat and mushrooms.
My original flavour Pan Mee was very average and I prefer the stronger taste of Bao Bao Pan Mee.
A redeeming quality in this eatery was their sour lime juice which I finished it even before remembering to take a picture of it.

I didn't know that. The shop doesn't look like its age.
